Heather 14 inches
Heather is a beautiful fairy sitting daintily on her toadstool.
Heather is made from Distressed English Mohair in light grey and Black on a cream backing which gives her a nice aged look. She has antique boot button eyes and a multi-toned embroidered and varnished nose. Her sweet features are enhanced with needle-sculpting and airbrushing. Her paws are made from 100% pure wool felt and are also air-brushed. She has several different fillings to give her a nice weight.
Heather is wearing a satin teddy with space dyed silk ribbon straps. Over this, she has a fairy skirt made up of lots of embroidered petals, on a crochet band. She has a halo of mulberry flowers, and wears a pretty necklace with Swarovski crystals.
Heather is holding a blue butterfly and her crochet shoes. She has delicate natural skeleton leaf wings. Heather sits on a needlefelted mushroom with spots. Heather won the British Bear Artist Award, Dressed Bear in December 2005.
